​Dr. John Jaskot

Dr. John Jaskot is a chiropractor and is the director of the Thornhill Chiropractic and Wellness Centre. He has been practicing family based chiropractic since 1990. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Science and Genetics from the University of British Columbia in 1986. He graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1990, received his certification in Chiropractic Rehabilitation in 1994 and Clinical Acupuncture Certification from the Canadian Academy of Clinical Acupuncture in 1996. He is the co-inventor of the new custom adjustable LogicBack lumbar support which is designed to support the spine in a perfect ergonomic position while sitting. In addition, he has developed and patented an ergonomic sleep pillow with adjustable air or water base chamber. The Logic Curve pillow adapts its shape to your individual sleep position. ​His array of techniques include Diversified, Koren Specific Technique, Arthrostim, and Acupuncture. His emphasis is on restoration of health and gradual enhancement of health through chiropractic, exercise, nutrition, ergonomics, and stress management techniques. Dr. John Jaskot believes in empowering individual patients and their families with knowledge and self awareness in order for them to succeed in reaching their optimum level of well being.

Dr. Juliana Haddad-Jaskot

Dr. Juliana Haddad Jaskot has been practicing family based chiropractic for over 25 years. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience and Psychology from the University of Toronto in 1986. She graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1990, received her certification in Chiropractic Rehabilitation in 1994 and is a member of the Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Association of Ontario. She co-founded the Thornhill Chiropractic and Wellness Centre in 1999. She is co-inventor of the new adjustable Logic Back Custom adjustable back support which is effective in reducing muscle fatigue during prolonged periods of sitting. She is a Registered Acupuncturist and a member of the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (TCMPAO). ​Her practice technique is diversified and she has expanded her practice to include care for injuries sustained from sports, accidents, and repetitive strain to mention a few. Her emphasis is on the restoration of health through the benefits of chiropractic, exercise, better nutrition and focusing on a positive mental attitude. She has well understood the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle throughout her career. She enjoys an active lifestyle and understands how to balance a busy practice with family life.

Susan Wu M.D., R.N., RMT

Susan has an extensive medical background and knowledge of the human body. She has worked as a registered practical nurse at North York General Hospital, a teacher in Xi’an Medical University and also as an ophthalmologist in the affiliated hospital in China. Susan later obtained her RMT diploma from the Pharma-medicine Science College of Canada. She has focused her treatments on muscular dysfunctions through various massage techniques: deep tissue, Swedish, Chinese Tuina, hot stone, aromatherapy, trigger point release as well as providing remedial exercises for rehabilitation. Many cases involving back pain, frozen shoulder, tension headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome, perinatal care, chronic whiplash disorder, and work related stress respond to her care. Susan enjoys taking time to listen to and assess her patients so that she may be able to help them in their recovery. She finds it positively rewarding to see her clients making positive changes and feeling better after each visit.

Yan Wang, RMT

Yan is an experienced registered massage therapist and has a passion for massage therapy, health, and wellness. Yan specializes in Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, trigger point therapy and hot stone massage. Each massage is custom to her clients’ needs and is delivered with a very caring and professional demeanour. Yan’s other passions in life include spending time outdoors, travelling, fitness, animals and spending time with family and friends.

Amy Zheng, RMT

Amy is an experience registered massage therapist who also graduated from Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Centennial College, Nursing. She has over a decade of clinical work experience treating a variety of populations. Amy has deep family roots in healthcare. She has a special interest in post stroke and lymphatic edema, amongst other conditions treated. Amy is an avid runner, she loves to hike and explore nature. As a resident of Richmond Hill, you can find Amy exploring the Greenbelt on her free time.
